Whiteboard overview and setup checklist

The Whiteboard provides a centralized view of patients’ treatment schedules and statuses and acts as a key entry point for ordering and editing treatments. The window is accessed from any workstation and can also be displayed on a second monitor.

Setup overview

The Electronic Whiteboard provides basic predefined settings so that minimal setup is required to get started. It is recommended to customize the Electronic Whiteboard setup to best meet the needs of your practice.

Whiteboard usage overview

The Electronic Whiteboard encompasses three windows that work in conjunction to provide you with a comprehensive solution for ordering, tracking, and billing for patient treatments within the hospital.  

  • Whiteboard (main grid) window: Provides a centralized view of patients’ treatment schedules and statuses and acts as a key entry point to ordering and editing treatments.  
  • Patient Orders window: Used to schedule and manage treatment orders for a patient on the Whiteboard.  
  • Patient Treatments window: Allows you to view and complete treatment orders for a patient on the Whiteboard. Once patient treatments are completed, treatment items are automatically placed on the Patient Visit List and in patient history.

Remember to have a Cornerstone administrator adjust Whiteboard security settings to access setup, use and reporting as appropriate for each team member’s role.
