Additional Information
General information
- When unattended EOM is set to immediately follow unattended EOD, a database lock will prevent posting of transactions from the beginning of unattended EOD until the end of unattended EOM.
- Set a time accordingly with your operating hours to give your team time to complete transactions and balancing of cash drawer. If using integrated card payments with Online Payment Requests, consider setting a time that coordinates with the batch close to have daily deposits match to card batch reports.
Database copy
- When making copies of the database, they are copied to the dailycc and dailycc\monthly shared folders on the server, based on daily and monthly copy settings.
- These copies are overwritten each time a new copy is made.
- This process does not replace your normal backup procedure and is intended for premise-based Cornerstone only.
End of year
- End of year must be run manually. Set a reminder accordingly to not overlook this end of period process.
