Trupanion Exam Day Offer integration

In Cornerstone 9.6 and above, send a Trupanion Exam Day Offer* for eligible pets through an automated pop-up or click the new Offers button from key workflow windows.

Set up Trupanion Exam Day Offer (EDO)

Configure the connection to Trupanion through the MyCornerstone self-service portal. The setup will take 10-20 minutes to complete and consists of three parts:

• Connecting your practice
• Deciding where in Cornerstone you’d like the automated pop-ups and manual offers button to appear:
  • Check-in
  • Estimate
  • Invoice
  • Patient Visit List
    Note: Automatic pop-ups are only available for Check-in and invoice windows.
• Mapping your Cornerstone species and breeds to the Trupanion species and breed list.

At any time you can return to MyCornerstone to make updates. For example, if you change your mind about where the pop-ups happen, you can return to MyCornerstone and update your selections.

To begin the setup you will need the following information:

• MyCornerstone link: https://mycornerstone.idexx.com/
• Your MyIDEXX login credentials
  Note: If you do not have MyIDEXX credentials, go to https://my.idexx.com/ to create a your MyIDEXX account.
• Your Trupanion Hospital ID: You can look up your ID within the Trupanion integration setup in MyCornerstone.

1. Log into https://mycornerstone.idexx.com/.
2. Locate the Trupanion Integration card under your practice name, and click Configure.
   
   Note: Once you click Configure, it may take a few minutes for MyCornerstone to retrieve the information.
3. Click Look Up.
   Note: If your practice cannot be found using Look Up, contact Trupanion for your practice ID and click Add Manually to add your practice ID.
   
   • Select the appropriate practice or practices, and click Connect.
     
4. Click on Offer Setup.
   
5. Select which Cornerstone windows should display Automated Pop-Ups and which windows should have manual buttons available.
   
   • Automated popups scan key workflow windows for eligibility and automatically display an offer when applicable.
   • The buttons allow you to manually check for eligibility and send offers.
6. Click Manage Species/Breeds.
   
7. Match your Cornerstone canine and feline species to Trupanion’s species list.
   
8. Click Manage Breeds.
   • Most breeds will be automatically mapped. Canine mixed breeds, and possibly other breeds, will need to be mapped manually. A message will display to inform you of this. Click Ok.
     
   • A list of breeds by species, that have not been mapped, will display. Click Show mapped breeds to see the entire list of breeds.
     
     Notes: You do not have to map all breeds to complete the setup.
9. Click Update Cornerstone to complete the setup.
   
10. Select the appropriate practice and click Connect.
    

Use Exam Day Offer in Cornerstone

The Offers button will be available on any of the following windows you designate. You may also opt for an automated pop-up for the Check-in and Invoice windows.

• Check-in
• Estimate
• Invoice
• Patient Visit List

Patients are eligible for the offer if they meet the following requirements:

• 3 years or younger
• Canine of Feline
• Reason for visit is for a healthy visit

Button workflow

1. Click Offers.
   
2. The Offers window will display with the client and patient information.
   • Add or verify the clients address and email.
   • Verify the client agrees to share their contact information with Trupanion and check the box.
   • If the client wants to share their mobile number, click yes and enter the number, or select no if they do not want to share their mobile number.
   • Click Send Offer.
     
     
     

Pop-up workflow

The automated popup workflow is available on the invoice and check-in windows.

1. In the selected window, once you have completed your normal process, click one of the following depending on which window you are in:
   • Check-In on the Check-in window.
   • Post on the invoice window.
     
2. The Offers window will automatically display with the client and patient information.
   • Add or verify the clients address and email.
   • Verify the client agrees to share their contact information with Trupanion and check the box.
   • If the client wants to share their mobile number, click yes and enter the number, or select no if they do not want to share their mobile number.
   • Click Send Offer.
