Note: Choose the document type of correspondence if you want to add a client signature bookmark and/or ensure the document is saved in the patient history.

On the invoice item, set a special action of Print document for the correspondence document to print when the item is invoiced.

How do I Indicate that the detailed drug information was shared with my clients?

In addition to providing clients with detailed drug information, you may need to indicate that information was shared with your clients. Use one of the following options within Cornerstone:

  • Option 1: Create a client correspondence document that states the customer has read and understands this information.
    • Ensure the document type is correspondence so it will save to patient history.
    • Add the bookmark for the customer’s signature.
    • On the invoice item, set a special action of Print document for the correspondence document to print when the item is invoiced.
    • When the item is invoiced, the user will be prompted to enter the staff ID for the document. The document will then be displayed to be printed, and the client can sign it, which will be saved in the patient history.
  • Option 2: Create invoice items for Declined and Accepted/received information.
    • When applicable, add the appropriate line item to the invoice.
    • When the invoice is posted; the line item will be saved to the patient history.
Note: The items can be set up in a Pick list so the appropriate item can be selected at the time of invoicing. The Pick list could also be added to a Group item.
