Link species, breeds and sexes for labs

Link Cornerstone species, breeds and sex names with the species, breeds and sex names for each laboratory type you use, from those in the Lab list. This will save you time when ordering tests. Note: To view the lab list and your laboratories installed in Cornerstone, navigate to Activities > Lab Work > Laboratories.

Link species to labs

Navigate to Activities > Lab Work > Setup Lab Links > Link Species.

1. From the Lab drop-down list, select the appropriate laboratory.
   • Cornerstone species are displayed in the left column, and the laboratory descriptions are displayed in the right column.
   • For each row, select a value in the right column that corresponds to the Cornerstone value.
2. Click OK.

Link breeds to labs

Navigate to Activities > Lab Work > Setup Lab Links > Link Breeds.

1. From the Lab drop-down list, select the appropriate laboratory.
2. From the Species drop-down list, select the species.
   • Cornerstone values are displayed in the left column, and the laboratory descriptions are displayed in the right column.
   • For each row, select a value in the right column that corresponds to the Cornerstone value.
3. Click OK. Repeat as needed for each species.

Link sexes to labs

Navigate to Activities > Lab Work > Setup Lab Links > Link Sexes.

1. From the Lab drop-down list, select the appropriate laboratory.
   • Cornerstone species are displayed in the left column, and the laboratory descriptions are displayed in the right column.
   • For each row, select a value in the right column that corresponds to the Cornerstone value.
2. Click OK.
