Additional Information
General
- Enter time in military format to save time typing a.m. and p.m. Ex: 1:30 p.m. is entered as 13.30.
- The note displayed in the block may truncate based on monitor size, screen resolution, and numbers of columns set to show in suites.
- Hovering your mouse over a block will display the block note.
- Blocks display in the color selected under practice hours and include a bullet in each blocked time slot.
- Blocks made in a specific suite will display in all other suites that include the blocked room(s).
- Lunch slots are not considered scheduled or blocked. They can have a block applied over them without a conflict.
- Block creation, updates, and deletions are captured on the Appointment Audit report.
- Blocks are included on the Today’s Schedule report.
Single or group blocks
- To block most rooms for a specific day at once, consider blocking “All Rooms in Suite”; and deleting the block from the individual room(s).
Example: There is a staff meeting for all staff, except the groomer. Select All Rooms in a Suite from the drop-down menu and delete the block from the grooming room.
- To quickly create a number of same sized blocks:
- Block the first room.
- Copy/paste to the other day/times and room(s), as needed.
Recurring blocks
- To change recurring block options delete the entire block and set up a new recurring block.
- For a ‘recurring’ block that does not fit into the daily, weekly, or monthly patterns, copy a single block and paste accordingly to the appropriate day(s) and room(s).
